Great News! Our school is partnering with Smile New York Outreach to offer in-school dental care.
No Cost to You
IMPORTANT – Parents are asked to provide insurance information if they have it because we are required to submit services to insurance providers. However, parents will never receive a follow up bill or request for any payment from Smile NY. All children are seen, even if they don’t have insurance.
Services Provided
Each child seen by the team will have an exam, silver diamine fluoride (SDF) to treat decay and tooth sensitivity and sealants on back teeth if needed cleaning and fluoride treatment. (SDF may turn brown decay darker and hard as it works).
All students will be given an oral health report card to bring home and a FREE toothbrush.
Easy & Convenient
Having your child seen by the in-school dentist saves you valuable time. Top quality care is provided by local, New York licensed dentists right in the familiar surroundings of your child’s school.
Once your child returns a signed consent, it is good for as long as your child attends this school. We will call you in advance of an in-school dental clinic.
